I was stripping down the 70 parts SQBK today, and as I was drilling out the rivets on the front VIN plate, I saw this plate to the left of the VIN plate....Passenger side. No idea what is or for.
Any ideas or knowledge.
Thanks.

Believe it or not, but that's a build tag. On Dave Hall's site, there's a break down of that tag, that will tell you when, and what month, day, and shift the car was built.

Your car's birthday is 13 April 1970!

That's the first day of the 37th week of production, starting in August 1969. At least this is how I understand it...

My car's birthday is 14 August 1969 (the 4th day of the 2nd week of production: 02-4-3255).
