I was stripping down the 70 parts SQBK today, and as I was drilling out the rivets on the front VIN plate, I saw this plate to the left of the VIN plate....Passenger side. No idea what is or for.
Any ideas or knowledge.
Thanks.

Believe it or not, but that's a build tag. On Dave Hall's site, there's a break down of that tag, that will tell you when, and what month, day, and shift the car was built. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

Your car's birthday is 13 April 1970!
That's the first day of the 37th week of production, starting in August 1969. At least this is how I understand it...
My car's birthday is 14 August 1969 (the 4th day of the 2nd week of production: 02-4-3255). |
