|
|
I'm sorry, I searched the site but I'm not finding what I need. I hope this isnt repetitive ...
What online stores do you guys use to get parts for your T3's, mostly interior (headliner, seat covers) and exterior (headlights, seals)?
I've got some places that I get stuff for my bus, but maybe you guys know something better.
Thanks. |

Sticky: Type 3 FAQ - *Read before posting*
for interior stuff though i've only come across TMI and Sewfine unless you do something custom or with NOS material. _________________ Raul

I tried the ones on the sticky post, they dont work or dont have what I need.
I will try TMI.
Anyone ever get anything from JC Whitney?
Busdepot has a lot, but I hate ordering from them.
Any advice? |

all of those links from the FAQ are good, plus I have used:
http://www2.cip1.com/
http://www.westcoastmetric.com/
Interior pieces, such as carpeting, I have purchased from CIP1, and I have seen it listed with ISPWest as well. Seals I normally purchase from either CIP1, WCM, or ISPWest... _________________ póg mo thóin

I've used Whitney quite a bit. You just have to watch what you're buying. The name-brand stuff is the same you'll get anywhere. The rest can be kind of iffy.
Bughaus.com carries a lot of the lights, seals, etc. for Type 3. _________________ Tony

For interior stuff I use J Bugs, as they are the TMI wholesaler/dealer. Just be sure to let them know any parculiarities (sp?) about your car. Like wide headrests in a 70, or rounded top seats in a 65, as their catalog is wrong.
I also normally use CIP for exterior parts, and ISP west, along with a couple of other companies. You can also find some great deals in the Samba classifieds. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof
