This is within 3 hours of end and at $21k+.
Pretty attractive though they did a few bone headed things in the resto:
Failed to fix a few rust holes in the outer floors;
Thin lipped arches (maybe all they could get 15 years ago?)
And arches pop riveted on. Sheesh. a damned spot welder costs $150. I'd glue them on before doing it with pop rivets.
But compared to most, it's pretty cute.
Wood strips on the bed, bows for the tilt.

I think this is one of those buses that looks great right now but in a few years will look like shit once the Scheib loses its shine. They took a marginally decent truck, slapped on some shiny paint and fake logos and are trying to cash in. At least they took some pictures to show you what you're getting yourself into. I have a hard time believing someone is really going to pay $20k for this truck.
Those rivets were a shitty idea.
There is overspray on the damn floor mat! What kind of low-budget paint shop won't even pull out the damn mats?
I need a dramamine just looking at that bed, yet they went ahead and slapped some wood on it.
There's rust bubbles on the bottom corner of the nose
Obvious bondo in the lower part of the nose "V".
They couldn't be bothered to paint the apron.
What is holding up the aircleaner?
They couldn't be bothered to get a proper carb return spring
Or a proper horn
The front flloors are undercoated, and that has been rusted through
Nice wasp nest on the heater tube

Makes me feel a little better about how my single cab looks.
How do you make the rear bed panels that wavy? They're pretty substantial. What the hell did they stick on that bed? _________________ Andy

1. Remove wood slats.
2. Buy 6" rolls of lead 4' wide.
3. Load rolls of lead perpendicular to side gates.
4. Drive over bumpy roads until bed surface is wavy.
It went for $22.1k. Seems like it sold a little high, considering the quality of the body. |

The paint was done several years ago prior to our ownership, and is just a driver quality paint job with flaws in the paint itself. |
I think the interior panels look good.
Correct door handle orientation!
Looks like this pressed bumper SC went for $22,100, even with less than perfect body work..
I like the pics with the old brick buildings and brick street and autumn leaves. _________________ The Obsolete Air-Cooled Documentation Project http://oacdp.org/

That 21 window needs a full strip down and restoration unless you want a 1980's VW Trends car. Most people would see it as a 50k full on project bus and who knows what is under the 80's resto.

Almost $1000 for some ambulance fans?
These were listed this past Sunday for $650 shipped. The extra switch and cool black knob have gone missing as well. _________________ WANTED:

Those two work together in ways, or at least used to not sure if they still do. |
