Who wants a photo of a 1920's Oldsmobile on their car? Cool if your car is a 1920 Olds but I think it looks stupid on any other car.
I think we (PA classic car owners) need to put together a petition to get the plate redesigned and/or allow YOM plates.
Any thoughts? _________________ Mike B. |

That's just part of the reason I don't have classic tags on my Bus. _________________ Ted Wojton

I was going to change over to antique tags until I found out they changed them. I liked the antique look of the old ones, now they're too modern looking. I was then going to get the black D.A.R.E. ones but they suck now too! |

I am 99% sure that I saw verbiage on the application (for antique) that states that tampering or covering the automobile on the plate is against the law and would be considered "tampering with the tags"
or something along those lines. |

Those jack-asses in Harrisburg have fucked up everything else. Why should antique tags slip through the cracks? _________________ Suicide is man's way of telling God, "You can't fire me; I quit!" - Bill Maher |

I've seen many cars with the "plate car" covered up. _________________ AC/BC (Air Cooled/Breakfast Club)

I prefer the YOM plates over the antique tags, but in Ohio, you have to keep both, displaying the YOM tags and keeping the antique ones in case you get stopped. I also like the fact that I don't have to register them for another 50 years!!!! _________________ Enemies are friends in reverse..... G. Busey

I'd sign it. You can still run the old purple ones if you have one, from what I understand anyway. |

The only problem besides the ugly plate
is the car must remain stock to have those style plates _________________ the best beer in the world is a free one

There is a website of states that allow YOM plates..PA is on there. But damned if I've ever seen one! I don't know why they don't allow us to. They'd make more money charging us to run YOM plates. _________________ Formerly known in the forums as "OVALTEEN"

TNs are pretty lame unless you go waaay back, then they are shaped like the state which is cool. GA has some intersting rules on theirs, almost anybody can get one, its not very appealing either. _________________ Der Schmutzige Süden.
