A Vintage Volkswagen Car Show
Sunday, July 31st, Lavallette, NJ
Philadelphia Ave. & Bay Blvd., At the Park by the bay.
Enter from Brown Ave. and Bay Blvd. where actual curb cut into the park is located.
pre 1980 Classic Volkswagen Cars and Buses may enter.
VW Campers of any year are welcome also.

Car Registration between 8am and 11am
spectator judging from 9am to 1pm
Awards presented at 2pm SHARP!

The whole family is comming out for this one. I just don't know what we will be driving. Stacey proposed driving the squareback, and me taking one of the other cars. Too bad I don't have the 15 window anymore.

Oh, MAN......I'm just going to miss this show. We will spend most of Aug in Bay Head but we don't head down until Aug. 5th.
Looks like it will only be the gathering in Flanders this year. I need to get cracking.....I have big plans for that show!!!

| Oh shit, I never read the flyer. Looks like I gotta be there. I know there isn't a swap here, but I anyone has an extra 12v starter laying around, bring it. I was bench testing one today and it caught on fire. I imagine that's not good for it. |

I'll bring a starter along, think I have an autostick unit.
Edit,
Yup, good working unit off my swivelseat before going 6V flywheel.
And its easy to "light up" a starter when bench testing.
The wiring diagram is confusing, and its possible to put Hot to Ground by mistake at the solenoid if you aren't paying close attention.
Been there, done that.
