September 22, 2024 Organization: San Diego Air Cooled Location: Sea Coast Blvd. Imperial Beach, California San Diego Air Cooled cordially invites you, your family, and your Volkswagen, be it a perfect restoration or not so perfect to Air Cooled Fiesta XI. Other air cooled marques are welcome; Porsches, Tatras, Franklins, Corvairs, etc, Some fans like it so much they bring more than one car or a bus load of people. Sea Coast Blvd bordering the beach is reserved for show cars. Cars will also be exhibited on the plaza, sand, and pier (fishing permitted). There are restaurants, pubs, breweries, cup cake bakery, ice cream shop, markets, and hotels on or adjacent to the venue. A parking lot has been reserved for swappers, and the grass area will host vendors/sponsors, entertainment and awards. The fishing pier, beach, and a park with children’s and adult equipment are also right there. Check out the article on last year’s show in the May 2024 Hot VW Magazine. San Diego Air Cooled is planning another extraordinary event, all the usual drawings, swag, and awards, in a unique venue. Imperial Beach likes Volkswagens. We are planning Mariachis to welcome you, a Brazilian Samba School to entertain, and a band playing the songs that came out of the am radio when your car was new. Proceeds will again be donated to local charities, as well, as an automotive tech scholarship.. San Diego Air Cooled has 501 C3 status. Bugformance & Niello VW presents: The NorCal VW Classic on Sunday September 29, 2024 at @the Grounds Placer County 700 Event Center Dr. Roseville, Ca. 95678. This one day event will be held on the grass inside the grounds and will feature an all VW car show, swap meet, new parts vendors, music and a raffle so bring the whole family to enjoy this event. There will be food trucks on site and a shaded pavilion to sit down and eat and or listen to some music. The car show and swap meet move in time will be from 7:00 to 9:00 AM and the spectator gate will open at 9:00 AM to allow us to get all the car show cars parked and the swap meet set up. The car show is open to all Air Cooled and Water Cooled Volkswagens. Our car show staff will be selecting "50 Top" VW's and some "special" awards at this event. Please make sure to fill out your window card to be eligible for the awards. Club parking is allowed, just drive in together to make it easier for the staff to park your club. It has been held every year at the park since with the exception of no shows in 2014 and 2020. It is the largest VW car show in Texas, with over 300 classic Volkswagens in attendance. It is a free show to all participants, there is no registration fee nor spectator fee. The show is supported by many local, state, national and international businesses with donations to the raffle which sustain the show. Top Notch Restaurant donates hot dogs and buns which the local Kiwanis Club prepares and then gives away to folks in attendance. They only ask for donations. It is by far the Kiwanis of Silicon Hills largest fundraiser each year which they put back into our community. The Kiwanis use local high school students as part of their service to the community. The VW Harvest is a very fun, family friendly event with Hot Wheels races for the kids, a Kids Twinkie Eating contest and a fun home-made VW Valve Cover pinewood derby race. It is promoted on the VW Life YouTube channel, which currently has 44,000 subscribers across the globe, the VW Life and VW Harvest Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as local newspapers and TV/radio stations. The VW Harvest is a very special event held each year for families and friends to come together and enjoy a beautiful day in the park with their Volkswagens. All are welcome. |

We will have over 25 classes and special awards for air-cooled, water-cooled and electric Volkswagen, Porsche and Audi. We now have Friday night camping! Car show is Saturday with Hot VW Magazine attending! Registration $20, vendors/swappers $20, Show shirts $20, 50/50. Spectators free. Gate opens at 8am Saturday for show. Awards at 3pm. Join us for a fabulous day with other car enthusiasts. See the best collector cars in the country. Enjoy 30 acres of the beautiful grounds of Burger's Lake. Food truck will be onsite. Our 2024 charity is the Apollo Support & Rescue. The organization is a 501c3 non-profit that helps rescue abandoned and neglected dogs in North Texas. Park closes promptly at 5pm Saturday. Weather permitting we will be gathering once again at the Westbrook Town Beach from Noon to 3pm for the last Volkswagen event of the year. Are you crazy enough to go to a VW event in December??? Afterwards we are invited to participate in Westbrook's Annual "Tree Lighting" Parade. The Parade starts at 4pm from South Main St and continues to the town green and circles around it. Then we all join in on the green for refreshments, song, and Christmas Cheer. VW decorating is highly encouraged!!! Camping starts Friday March 7th gates opens at 10am. Chicken Dinner 5pm $10, includes 1st Keg of beer. Show Saturday March 8th open to all Volkswagen's any year any model, this is a VW Show. Top 10 Trophies, T-shirts, Raffles, Kids Events, Food, Hot and Cold Drinks. Beer Garden, Spectator Entrance is $2 (12 & under free), Vehicle Show Entry is $10, vendor space $30, swap space $20 per vehicle, $50 all weekend pass includes driver only. Each additional person is $2, Camping is at the Fairgrounds enter from the Pacific street entrance across from Walmart, located between Old Highway 95 and 32nd St across from Yuma Airport (look for the VW sign). RV camping $30 per night if you need power $40 per night. No Generators after 10pm If camping and attending the show, we are only charging one price for Camping and show entry. A flat fee of $50 includes the show entry and 2-nights of camping. If you had the privilege of attending last year then you already know how amazing and successful this event was. If you didn't attend, well here's your chance to redeem yourselves and witness what all the buzz was about. Show is set for Sunday June 8th, 2025 at Rancho Jurupa Regional Park (Same location as last year) with gates opening at 6am. Bring your BBQs, kids, dogs and whole family. Dogs must be friendly and on a leash, if questionable leave the pup at home. Be prepared for car show awards, raffles, swap meet, food, vendors, sunshine and smiles, all around fun times! Grand Prize for the Raffle will be a 1972 Turbo Bug... .. if you have questions ask someone from VTO or Just Cruzin to explain... lol Car Show Participants are $30 per car (air-cooled) All Spectators are $30er car *yes, including all passengers!
