We will have over 25 classes and special awards for air-cooled, water-cooled and electric Volkswagen, Porsche and Audi. We now have Friday night camping! Car show is Saturday with Hot VW Magazine attending! Registration $20, vendors/swappers $20, Show shirts $20, 50/50. Spectators free. Gate opens at 8am Saturday for show. Awards at 3pm. Join us for a fabulous day with other car enthusiasts. See the best collector cars in the country. Enjoy 30 acres of the beautiful grounds of Burger's Lake. Food truck will be onsite. Our 2024 charity is the Apollo Support & Rescue. The organization is a 501c3 non-profit that helps rescue abandoned and neglected dogs in North Texas. Park closes promptly at 5pm Saturday. Weather permitting we will be gathering once again at the Westbrook Town Beach from Noon to 3pm for the last Volkswagen event of the year. Are you crazy enough to go to a VW event in December??? Afterwards we are invited to participate in Westbrook's Annual "Tree Lighting" Parade. The Parade starts at 4pm from South Main St and continues to the town green and circles around it. Then we all join in on the green for refreshments, song, and Christmas Cheer. VW decorating is highly encouraged!!! Gates open on Friday at 11am, kicking off a weekend filled with friends, food, laughter, and relaxation. For just $35 per person, you’ll enjoy exclusive access to camping facilities (we now have showers!), three days of LIVE MUSIC, a complimentary drink ticket, and a delicious Taco Bar dinner on Saturday. Bring your beloved VW vehicle and camping essentials. Non-VW sites are also available nearby, so everyone can join in the fun. Our onsite brewery will be open from 9am to dusk on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with an extensive menu available for purchase throughout the event. Please note that, in accordance with DLLC guidelines, outside food and beverages are not permitted in our general seating area and must be kept at your campsite. We’re a fur-friendly venue, so feel free to bring your four-legged friends! To ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment, please keep all animals on a leash and promptly clean up after them. Your cooperation helps us provide a safe and pleasant experience for all attendees. Upon arrival, each camper will receive a wristband granting access to a variety of engaging activities throughout the weekend. Camping starts Friday March 7th gates opens at 10am. Chicken Dinner 5pm $10, includes 1st Keg of beer. Show Saturday March 8th open to all Volkswagen's any year any model, this is a VW Show. Top 10 Trophies, T-shirts, Raffles, Kids Events, Food, Hot and Cold Drinks. Beer Garden, Spectator Entrance is $2 (12 & under free), Vehicle Show Entry is $10, vendor space $30, swap space $20 per vehicle, $50 all weekend pass includes driver only. Each additional person is $2, Camping is at the Fairgrounds enter from the Pacific street entrance across from Walmart, located between Old Highway 95 and 32nd St across from Yuma Airport (look for the VW sign). RV camping $30 per night if you need power $40 per night. No Generators after 10pm If camping and attending the show, we are only charging one price for Camping and show entry. A flat fee of $50 includes the show entry and 2-nights of camping. BLOOMIN’ GOOD SHOW 2025 18th Year March 29, 2025 LOCATION: Millard’s Crossing Historic Village 6020 North Street Nacogdoches, TX 75963 HOSTED BY: East Texas VeeDub Club and Millard’s Crossing SHOW ENTRY: $35.00 (includes admission to the Village – up to four arm bands for entrant and three immediate family members of entrant) AIR-COOLED, WATER-COOLED, THING, BEETLE, BUS, TYPE 3, and PORSCHE, anything VW powered, branded or customized, bring it on out!! Classic or new!! As always, if you do not want to be judged, but you want to come display your VW or Porsche, entry is free, but we hope you would donate or contribute to our cause! REGISTRATION: Begins at 9:00am – no entries after 12:00pm AWARDS: Approximately at 3:pm – preceded by Auction and Raffles VENDORS: Swap Meet $10 a spot – vendor area HIGHLIGHTS: Grass parking, shade trees, activities for the kiddos, 50/50 pot, Top 20-25 Awards (TBD), Swap Meet, Food Truck(s), free public access, and LOADS of fun!! All cars entering the park MUST register for the car show and MUST park in their respective class. There will be NO pre-registration for either the car show or swap. You will queue up in the bottom parking lot and pay at the gate and register your car at the club booth after you park your car inside the park. Because of park concerns with people leaving early in their cars before the show ends, we ask if you think you have to leave early that you please park your car outside and walk-in. Please note there is NO alcohol, NO pets, and NO BBQ's allowed inside the park. These are park rules and must be obeyed. The park has asked us to make sure everyone packs up and leaves immediately after the show is over. This has become a problem in the past and has jeopardized our club to continue to have the show at the park. If you had the privilege of attending last year then you already know how amazing and successful this event was. If you didn't attend, well here's your chance to redeem yourselves and witness what all the buzz was about. Show is set for Sunday June 8th, 2025 at Rancho Jurupa Regional Park (Same location as last year) with gates opening at 6am. Bring your BBQs, kids, dogs and whole family. Dogs must be friendly and on a leash, if questionable leave the pup at home. Be prepared for car show awards, raffles, swap meet, food, vendors, sunshine and smiles, all around fun times!
