There is a white wall paint that comes from Norway, I believe.
Also, a tire with a small white line, usually has a huge white area that can be exposed. There are company's that do this.
Also, look on line, there are specialty white wall companies too.
I know about this non sense because my other car life revolves around old stuff like this.... _________________ "Use the SEARCH, Luke" But first visit the Vanagon FAQ!

I may go on a Nationwide journey painting all Vanagon white walls black.
If this happens to you...
Now you know
For the love of God, please no white walls. |

Dude, how old are you? I was going to suggest these when I saw the thread but feared I'd be laughed off the forum. _________________ '87 Westy in Wolfram Grey Metallic |

Old enough to have driven a VW bug with two back windows and it was just a bug! _________________ 1987 syncro westy tin top sun roof , GW2.3, rear locker, decoupler, Gary Lee tire rack & winch mount, lift, south african grill, big brakes , rhein alloy ,15 BFG AT, Fiamma 10 foot awning ,140 watt rear 85 watt front solar , mppt, truckfridge, automatic fire extinguishing system, tencent oil cooler, And a RMW SS exhaust! - 1971 bug convertible 1776 engine- 2010 Subaru turbo - 1993 Toyota 4x4 truck - 1999 Harley 95 CI, big bore, Andrews cams . Just thinking out loud but maybe a retro tire company like Coker Tire might have something. _________________ Peace, Regis |

I think Hankook has one in the larger size
like 205/75/R14. It's 6 plies two steel and 4 polyester.
Unsure if the reference on the tire is to sidewalls.
Check them out.

I saw these recently on a 78 rabbit with 16in steelies. It looked really nice. Didn't think I would be a fan. |

Put some normal windshield wipers on that, and round headlights, and I'd roll it! It looks very clean. _________________ '71 Super 'Vert
