COMPLETE COLLECTION OF HOT WHEELS MEYERS MANX DIECAST

All 20 in mint condition all lose except the "piece de résistance" the HW meyers manx fte 139 (SILVER) from 2003 to 2012 ...

I have all but four of them,

1. Silver (Faster Than Ever)
2. Red (Target California Dreamin')
3. Pink (Down & Dirty)
4. Orange (Hot Ones)

The first three came out before I started collecting them, the orange Hot Ones (the last cases) never came out in the stores around me. The stores have many of the older Hot Ones (older cases) on the pegs though. And I hate the idea of dealing with eBay.

I bought maybe 1/2 of them on ebay ,some on toypeddler , bernie's hotwheels ,n somes different store ...

:P

Texas Die-Cast is where I look as well when I want to know what there is of each casting. As for buying die-cast cars on eBay unfortunately most of them aren't worth what you pay for them period, and once you add to that the S&H it gets to where it's just way too much sometimes.

I scan eBay every once in a while and sometimes you can get a good deal even after paying S&H, but most times anymore the sellers think they have gold bars and plan on retiring off of the Hot Wheels and other die-cast cars that they sell.

I can only tolerate so much human greed and it's gets easier and easier to do without the Hot Wheel castings that I want.

I have many extra of the meyers manx's that I have and I give them away to the local Dune Buggy club members. I also give away my extra Bugs (new and old), Karmann Ghias, Things, type 2 vans/buses and type3 square back and fastbacks to people who have identical VW's worked on in my buddies VW repair shop.

A couple of weeks ago I gave a orange HW thing to a customer with the same exact color of body and top and they loved it. I'm not about the money, it feels good to do something out of the blue for other Volkswagen enthusiasts like myself. You'd be surprised how many customers don't realize that HW's makes so many of these castings and in so many different colors.

If you are ever looking to sell any of the EMPI Imp toys let me know 8) It is hard to find any Imp toys in the US.

Buggycollector Thu Feb 28, 2013 3:02 am

Hi btonns :)

I don't think that i sell any Buggymodel before the end is near.... Here are more photos from my collection. Unfortunately I have not photographed all my buggies. But that will come. I also have all Hot Wheels Manx, only the silver FTE is missing. All Baja Bandits from Matchbox. A couple of HW Sand Crab's and Dune Daddy's. I think, i have 50 or 60 different colors of the Majorette Buggy.

Do you think this one is worth the money they are asking for? Is it a metal one. How about the details?

Buggycollector Mon Mar 04, 2013 1:36 pm

It's resine. I think that it is the money worth. If somewhere in the world a manufacturer is willing to produce a Manx, then I'll buy it anyway.
