So right now I am planning on getting the TriMil Bobcat style exhaust, and next winter getting another exhaust setup that is 1 3/8" and accepts heaters.
What did ya'll think about the jets in my carbs? |

That is a sweet looking bug. I really like the exhaust setup, with the silencer or the stinger. Where is your rear bumper though?! |

I always thought it was too. I thought '67 was the only year they did Bj front and swing rear. Early '68? |

In the US irs happened part way through the '68. In Canada we had swing axle and irs until '73 or '74? And '66 was the first year for ball joint front suspensions. |

Bomp.. Sorry wrong answer. Most 68's had swing axle. 4:12 RP 12 volt swing. 67 and 68 trannies are already clearanced for 200mm flywheels too. Had this car been IRS it would have gone in a different build direction. A lowered four inch beam is up next. |

| Well I just returned from a cruise to Cozumel, Mexico and Grand Cayman. Dang there were a lot of bugs and buggies in Cozumel! It made me very happy :D So anyways, our ship left from Tampa, Florida, where there just happens to be a buggy shop called Fisher's Buggies. So of course I had to stop in there before getting on the boat and I found my exhaust! 1 1/2" Tri-Mil Bobcat which I scored for $160 8) |

| Progress! I took the case and rotating assembly to the machine shop yesterday. He said they'll be done next week and then I can start building! I noticed when I was dropping stuff off there that one of the case savers for the head studs was missing. How easy/difficult are these to install? |

| No I think it was another one. Am I right in thinking that later cases are deep studded so it isn't necessary to do any extra drilling and tapping to prevent cracks? I've been researching that on here and I believe I am correct in my thinking. |

Why do you need to use dual springs on an FK-41 with 1.25 rockers?
Gary. |
