Oke, the story...
This is our economy beetle. The beetle is built in Emden , Germany.
The car was first bought in the Netherlands in 1976.
I bought the car in 2006 in Purmerend. ( Holland)
At the race track ( Zandvoort) to see some friends. The green 1303 beetle belonged to my dad. Unfortunally he sold the car a few months ago....
This is our bug in Belgium. My boyfriend, Sander dropped the front end with lowered spindles, and adjusted the rear suspension height.
In may 2008 a Peugeot ran into my bug:
The International Kever Weekend in Budel was coming soon, so we had to fix the bug in a few weeks!
OLD and NEW
Both won a cup in Budel in 2008 ( and 2009 )
This picture was taken for a Dutch magazine named "Viva'.
As soon as the season ended, the white german project started. Almost straight from the last meeting, we her right into our garage, to fix her looks for 2009!
Winter 2008 : Tthe white German is Born!"....
[ENGINE MOVIE!!
Last Night 16 dec. 2009 Sander and I had some Fun with our White German in the Snow.
Photos are nice but a movie says a lot more!!!
DONUTS:
** KeverCop Movie** Snow Fun KLIK
Just a view video's where you can see the car:

Sander's Racer is sleeping underneeth the snow in front of our house.
Off course our dogs are having the time of their lives!
Cheers, and I wish you all the best for 2010!

getting crunched is not fun. But when the end result looks that good, maybe it was worth it?
nice car! |

Love Das Kraut Look KeverCop, simple, clean and mean!
Did you have to narrow the front or rear to get the wheels to tuck? |

Tnx!!
Once the rebuilt was done, we thougt the car came out awesome!
During the job we kept the "3 color rule" in our heads, which means the car has only white, anthracite and black. Any extra color would have made it "A Mickey-mouse mobile".

Nope,
Frontbeam is only lowered, width is original.
We even had to use spacers (20mm) on the 7J (ET55) rims.
At the back we had to use 40mm spacers, (rims are 8J, ET70) clearance between the springplate-bolts is minimum, but enough to keep 'em rolling.
And all fenders are stock!! _________________ Our GermanLook Project |
