rubber brake lines won't let fluid through or air

any one else see this where a car has been sitting for some time and the rubber lines will not let anything through, I even tried the plastic tube off the brake cleaner can and it will not get through. It feels like there is a one way valve in the hoses or something and its on both sides.

Very common. Hoses fail ... it's time to replace them.

I repalced mine with the stainless ones from aircooled.net

Unless it's a Teflon liner and not rubber
