The Ghia is looking good Obus, you must be pleased
Regarding the mats, a brown/beige set would go better with the seats.
I had these mats that came out of a ferrite brown cabrio.

If you're referring to the ends of the front bumper, yes they go quiet close to the fenders. Both of mine are the same way. I measured just 3/16 inch. The white piping is usually available at an extra cost. Maybe you can exchange it? _________________ Marc

obus, I just went into the garage where my '64 Ghia Cabrio is parked. I measured the gap between body and the rear upper end of the front bumper blade (German parts), and it's also 3/16" on the left and right sides when looking down from above. I did not think it was that close until measuring the actual gap.
When I bought the Ghia in late 1983, it had the original canvas top boot- black with smooth round-profile ivory piping. It had several tears in it, and in the '90's I found a later original boot in better condition which I've used since then.

These are really really close! They didnt offer a white piping and i just assumed as i have only ever seen them that way. i have been sitting on it for 2 years now so ill have to eat it and get it custom added on. Its a shame because it wasnt cheap. |

That light grey is going to compliment the paprika so nicely. Great color combo!
I also don't know why Newton doesn't have more square weave color options, when they have a bunch of loop color options. I ended up going with Newton mainly because I bought it during covid when the GBP tanked in relation to the USD, and it was just too stupid cheap to pass up _________________ Currently own:
