From a visitor: "In 58 Henri Vall�e bought around 30 cars per year from Jos Lahoud and sold them in St-Georges (60 miles south of QC city) until he was an official distributor. I remember talking with Henry Vall�e in his 90s... before he died a couple of years ago. He was very funny. He told me that he sold a 62 or 63 beetle to one of his friends telling him that the car does not consumed a lot of fuel and Henry with friends during the night were refueling the car of that customer. The customer was very satisfied and telling everybody how the Beetle was good on gas... unbelievable in fact... until he find the joke... that guy was a true character! He sold during the 1960s Amphicars and Haflingers with the Beetles" |
