The KdF-Wagen reached its production "form" in 1938 with a
985ccm engine.
In the 1943 model year, the car received an 1131ccm engine (something already
in the military K�belwagen from 1939 onward).
This reproduction brochure was sold by Automuseum Wolfsburg in 1998, upon the
60th anniversary of the 1938 model year.

Fuel consumption = 7 Liters per 100 Kilometers. Fuel tank with reserve = 25 Liters. Stopping distance at 40 KPH = 7 meters' distance. Acceleration from Zero to 60 KPH = 14 seconds. Top speed = 100 KPH (62 MPH). |
