Just washed Mary today and look what I found. White paint under the left headlight. Not a good job for $400 CDN.

Mary's pop-top roof was painted white last weekend. Paid $400 CDN at Maaco. Here you can see how the paint bubbled. I have to go back in a few weeks so they can re-do it. What a nightmare.

A recent purchase from an add of off this site. This photo is from our first major outing to Orcas Island, WA. Climbed the steep, winding road up to Mount Constitution (at 2,409 feet ) with minimal effort.

Here's what it looked like this afternoon as we put the Bus in the garage to pull the motor and tranny inpreparation for its brand new 2.0 powerplant to go in. New fuel lines, clutch, repaint the engine bay...and drive another few hundred thousand miles!!

This view was taken at VW EURO 2002 Panningen Holland where I met up with VW T2b Karmann Mobil Safari made in Germany 1979 (in front). My camper at the back is a VW T2b type21 Karmann-Ghia Mobil Safari Cheetah made in Brazil from 1987.
