Found these in a bunch of VW parts I had picked up. The previous owner had a shop where he fixed VWs as well as Porsches. They both have the number 58 stamped in the underside. 356 maybe?

On the train home the other day I saw a flatbed truck with two Porsche spiders on the back going to a scrap metal yard in El Monte, CA. Both of the cars were tore up. One was painted in the Dean Spyer colors. Dean later bought a Spyder and had Barris paint the #130 on it.

The red tip antenna was used on early 190SL, and early 356.
You could also find them being used on early VW beetles.
They show up from time to time on Ebay as NOS...... but not cheap!!!

so many people are selling theese horn ring to be for standart split bug steering wheels THEY ARE NOT. Theese are stock used on the german car NSU, alot of european sellers sell theese and claim they are for vw, they are not. They fit vw split bug's yes but selling them and making people buying them in the mind they are split bug accessories is unfair. I have sold simmilar but have also stated clearly they are non vw but for nsu. I understand people wanted to have them as a fun object but having seen then advertised for 600+ $ and now from a serios collect from Belgium for 350€ is unbelieveable. Theese are the pics so you will know where to go if you are ever in doubt once again.
