Normally the pre-1500 buses had the air cleaner on the left, supported by a triangular bracket that mounts under the coil bracket. Well, the gas heater gets in the way of the air cleaner being on the left, so they spun it round to the right and used a different bracket to support the air cleaner.
The eberspacher version of the air cleaner support bracket bolts on at the right upper bolt for the generator tin to the fan shroud. There is a separate piece that hooks around the front (meaning towards the front bumper) of the fan shroud. |
