Crankshaft Pulley Pullers Posted: Wed May 25, 2005 3:58 pm     Views: 1482      Rating: Not rated

Here are 3 crankshaft pulley pullers that I use for stock, original pulleys.

Top is VW Matra 203b. Works well on 40hp and newer engines, but has some troubles with 25 and 36hp, due to the limited clearance between the pulley and engine case. A spacer is necessary to make up the space between the flange of the puller and the crankshaft.

Lower Left is a Kukko #124 puller I bought from an old VW shop. The Kukko puller also needs a spacer to be effective, and the previous owner welded a socket to the flange. Works great on all 25hp-1600+ engines.

Lower Right is another Kukko #124 I bought on ebay, in new condition. This appears to be a more modern version, because there is only one hole for the arm bolt to pass through. This also works very well.
