Due to the small holes in the outside of a superdiff, the side gears and fulcrum plates are usually starved for oil. These pics show the modifications you need to do to prevent damage.
These side covers are the ones VW installed on cars that had a ZF limited slip diff since the ZF diff also blocks oil from getting to the fulcrums. |
