Mario Bourbon, of Bourbon Fabrications, is currently working on our 1971 Karmann Ghia, "Shamrock Shake".
His shop is now up in Brownsville, CA and we took a drive up in our bus (our '67 Westfalia) to see the progress (Saturday, April 26th, 2025).
He's been providing photos to me as he works along, and the amount of "hidden" problems and prior badly executed "repairs" that previous owners had done with this poor Ghia is astounding, but not surprising. |
