| I recently picked up two bars and want to bring them back to life. One kit was in an original (filthy rubbish) cardboard box with a wooden base to support the bar and drive. Anyway, I went ahead and made it a good new home. The second kit had a very nice original box so it’s a keeper. One of the drive units was crunchy so I opened it up and found one of the drive gears was loose from its press fit control knob. There does appear to be excessive wear on the bronze bushings so these need to be replaced. Overall they need work to bring them back to life and I need a couple of replacement cutters. One was missing and one was messed up. Anybody have any cutters? I’d really like for someone to go through these. Hint hint. I can check dimensions but don’t have the equipment to repair. |
