These are some photographs, I took a few years ago, at the Essex VW Club show, of a British registered, Swedish specification, 1974 VW 1600 Type 2, with factory-fitted, electrically pumped, windshield washers & high-pressure headlamp washers.
Notice that the usual right-hand kickboard, has been replaced by a large capacity, black plastic washer-fluid reservoir, below and behind which are two electric pumps, one for the windshield washers and the other high-pressure type for the headlamp washers. |
