Got my beam on temporarily to move the car up to the workshop to do welding and to fix the awful welding jobs already done on it. I'm probably going to narrow 4 inches and I have a set of 15x 4.5 wide 5s for it once done.

Front beam steering box locating problem

Hi, new to the samba (couldn't see an option to upload to a 68 on category) It seems the pips for locating steering box are too far towards the outer beam as pitman arm doesn't clear the edge of beam. I bought this as someone else's project so I don't know what they've done to things prior to me buying it.
