Current view of the dealership taken 08/20/25. Mission Bay Chevrolet next door to close and high rise apartments to be built in its place. Probably the same to happen to the old VW building too.

have seen comments that the tank was body colour until late 49. but surely painting it in place means no paint underneath it and the paint gluing the tank to the body...
