Hiya Orange,

Ditto jcook.

I placed these stand mats in the Duck when I redid the interior. Perfect fit and they were actually better construction than the original. I was very happy with both the fit and the quality.

I bought some and they look great. Be a while before I can install, got to get the seats frames painted and covered first. Seat covers from WW also . What did you use to remove old glue ? And what new glue, if any, was used ?

Sorry to jump in but I,ve been pleased with all WW products and just did,nt need to start new topic I thought all could share.

I put a set on mine. The molded cut out areas for the seat track and seat belt bolt didn't match perfectly but you cant tell under the seat. They look alot better than what I had there. I'll try to post a pic later.

I put them in my 69. The only thing is the edges sometimes pop out of the "moulding" by the door. I was going to use some contact cement, but I am still planning on painting the cab sometime in the near future, so I do not want to do anything that I can't easily reverse. Other than that they look good. Much better than what was in there!

My interior was gutted at the time I put them in which made it alittle easier. I used GOOF OFF adhesive remover to get off the old glue. It was a bit time consuming but worth it. Then I used TransStar spray adhesive to glue them down.

So I would assume you did that front portion only on your '77 or '78? Ot did you get the other piece that fits the sides and back, and somehow get it to work?

If I understand this correctly, 211867765A only fits '68 thru early '76 on the rear and side. There is nothing reproduced for the sides and back on a later'76-'79.

And part # 211863665B fits all '68-'79 front portions.

Does anyone out there reproduce the side and back piece for the late'76-'79?

The 77 seats are slightly different. I don't know why the other set isn't available but it's been this way since those repro items appeared.

In other news, GoWesty no longer sells repro camping stools. The guy that made them flaked out.

Dude... take a dull screwdriver and slightly open the "moulding" strip. After the mat is tucked snugly under it, go down it gently with a hammer and pinch it tight. No contact cement needed.Wink

Dembus: How did you get the edges to stay in the grooves when the rubber mat was folded over and stuck in the groves? Mine keeps poping out! Looks good! Tom

You have to pound it down with a rubber mallet to pinch the rubber between the body and tab. Thats how I did it at least.
