Or maybe it's that she just loves the bus! When you come home and find that she has made this:

I know. We all know those who don't quite understand the difference. Well my wife happens to be one of them. However, she does love me and was all proud of what she obviously saw as her own masterful creation.

She may not understand my obsession with understanding this bus. What she does understand, however; is that the bus is important to me and for that reason it is important to her

I think it is just awesome how an inanimate object can inspire such unity of purpose in people.

As I have said in the past in various places and on various occasions, I have had MANY (around 50) project cars over the years and NOT A SINGLE ONE has inspired the tiniest bit of interest from my wife or kids. These buses however have been totally unique in that they all seem to welcome them as motorized members of the family. It is quite strange and nice at the same time. Now I am not "out with the car," but rather am "working on kombi" or some other more acceptable wordage.

Maybe this is all senseless talk. Anyway, I hope you all get a Kombi cake one day!!!

Dude, that is a sweet Kombi cake!!! (literally and figuratively!) She did a great job on that one! My wife is still practicing. She says she's gonna make another soon. She's learning just like I am. The kids loved it too!

I had no idea that so many women loved there bus-freak men to the point that they would make them a kombi cake!!!

That takes cool to a new level. It is one thing to take a loaf and make it into a bus. It takes an extra level of skill to make a crewcab!!!!!

That's more likely because most guys don't have a clue of how to bake anything in the kitchen. Laughing (not all mind you, but most by far)
