This is just a shout out to all members of the Samba forum. My 74 Riviera left me stranded yesterday. After searching the oracles (Muir and Bentley), I discovered that I had no spark coming out of the coil. I then did a couple of searches on the Samba forum found a suggestion to check out the ignition wire. Did a quick inspection and found a couple of spots where the insulation had come off and was causing a short. I replaced that section of wire and vroom!!.
