It's not within a 100 miles so no real conflict. the majoirity of the attendees are locals anyway. I still wish it was the day before the lakeland event. we could have another Wild weekend. _________________ "some-times there's a man--I won't say a hee-ro,'cause what's a hee-ro?--but sometimes there's a man, And I'm talkin' about the Dude here, sometimes there's a man who, wal, he's the man for his time'n place, he fits right in there--and that's the Dude" - The Big Lebowski |

Agreed. The last 2 years we've been going to the Silver Dollar Event to run the Street Car Challenge, it was a couple of guys from FL (Orlando) who took my money home. I noticed quite a few others as well. I'm sure both events will be good, but it will pose a conflict for some. _________________ www.vintageperformance.net |

March 9th is also the 11th anniversary of The Notorious B.I.G's unsolved murder. So weather you're in Orlando or GA pour a little liquor out. |

Doesn't matter to me who wins the prize - I don't compete in it b/c I sponsor it. The end result is the same no matter who wins ~ somebody is going home with my $$$ after a full day of fun.
BTW - Orlando did great last year with 2nd & 3rd, but it was Jersey in the #1 spot. _________________ www.vintageperformance.net |

I'm starting to get little wafts of bus stink coming from the north. Something about the unique scent of drivers seat padding when it's glued together with mouse piss and shit that really gets me going... and I'm smelling it! Oh yeah! Time to start loading up the equipment. |

There is another show conflict on March 9th. The Amelia Island show(Jacksonville) is on the 9th. They say it is one of the top 3 car events in the country. Its right up there with Pebble Beach & Meadowbrook. Too bad I don't own a car that would ever be invited to participate. None the less the cars on the fairways are phenominal.
Wish I could make Orlando, but the Amelia is just to awesome to miss. _________________ Call your Cunado's:

That is not a conflict. Amelia is a concours car event full of the uppity boring snob crowd. I heard they are auctioning off a barndoor bus there though? Any truth to that? _________________ OGJHC
