|
|
I need some help trying to figure out how the rear seat heater outlets on my '63 Beetle and the kick panels go together.
I have the kick panels with the round outlets in them and a rubber outlet ring attached to the kick panel. Then there is the actual metal heater channel outlet on the floor, nioce and solid.
THen I have these round metal collars with clips on them.
Sorry no pics, but, how or where do these metal collars go? On the outside of the kick panel or on the inside of the kick panel?
thanks _________________ enjoy the journey,

The kick panels and the rear heater outlets changed mid-year 1963, so I take it you have the later 1963 heater outlets, or since you say you have an outlet on the floor, are you trying to use the later kick panels with the early heater outlet?

Do you still have the early kick panels? I know it's been a while, but it's worth asking.
