I just did this last weekend on my '79 vert. It was a PITA. I didn't have any guidance so I made it up as I went along [lots of trial and error]. Although not identical, the procedure should be similar. Hopefully someone else may chime in if there are any significant differences.
If your door is currently stripped, insert the regulator in first, then the vent wing frame [assembled]. If you install the vent wing frame first, you will not be able to slide the regulator in. Before you start bolting everything up, install your new window scrapers. After the scrapers are in, install the vent wing hardware, two 10mm bolts up top in the forward door jamb, and a 13mm nut at the bottom of the frame on the inner door skin [also an adjustment screw]. There is also a hidden screw that helps secure the frame to the door. It's located under the weatherstripping along the base of the vent window. Leave everything loose, you'll tighten it all up when your are done. Next install the rear track. A 10mm bolt up top on the rear jamb, and another 13mm nut at the bottom of the track on the inner door skin. Le4ave them loose like the others. Next slide the window in making sure it mates with the rear track. Now here is the tricky part, you'll need to slide the regulator far enough back so the track bushings on the regulator can be pushed through the tracks on the base of the window. This is what took me the longest to do in both the disassembly and reassembly. You have to adjust the regulator so the arms are extended out as far as they can be and just fiddle around with it until you can pop the bushings in. Patience is a good tool to have here. Once they are in, you are golden. Tighten everything up, and see how it all works. If it rolls up crooked, there are adjustment points on the single bolt on the upper part of the rear door jamb and the two adjustment screws at the bottom of both the front and rear tracks. Also, before you put it all together, clean the tracks up real good and use some lithium grease.
Like I mentioned before, this was based on my experience in replacing the window regulator on my '79, your '63 may be a little different but hopefully this will get you started.
