Hate to ask- anyone know of a site that might have saab manuals, tech info on it? I know squat about them and have to help my brother in law try to get his 900 se running. Its only been sitting in the yard for two years now... _________________ my59: Well son, my grandfather died before I got to drive it, so does that answer your question?

Go to http://search.ebscohost.com/. Enter "library" for both the user ID and password. Lot's of different manuals and information available there. _________________

saabnet.com is definitely the best place out there. Kind of like the samba--people are nice and very interesting in helping people out with car problems. I had a 1980s Saab 900 for 7 years. One of the best cars I ever had...in all of those years I didn't have to tow it once, and I drove it cross-country three times and it had 220,000 miles on it when I got rid of it. _________________ 1980 Vanagon L Westy (176,200)

Thanks for the tips. Got it started, now to see how bad the brakes were when they parked it. _________________ my59: Well son, my grandfather died before I got to drive it, so does that answer your question?

Former Saab guy here... I had a '95 900 and a '96 900S and the SaabNet was the best place I found out there. It was no Samba, but then there can only be one.

Saabnet is no Samba, but handy enough. Got rear calipers on the way, and brother in law is buying me my new torque wrench and assorted tools I dont have for the job. Time for some ratchet box wrenches I've been wanting. _________________ my59: Well son, my grandfather died before I got to drive it, so does that answer your question?
