Stopped by Tijuana Customs today to pick up my top
We installed it there at his shop , took about 30 minutes but that's because I had to tip my rollbar slightly forward ( wasn't installed at correct angle )
Simple install & looks and fits better than I expected
Tom wanted me to let him know if there were any flopping in the wind issues & at what speed
Told him no can do cause my speedo no work , so out onto the parkway with Tom in pursuit to guage speed , 70mph and no flopping !! I let Tom take the wheel of the buggy for a while and took some pics. out the window of him driving. I think he liked the way it drives cause he just kept going till we got to the beach. Appropriate spot for more pics.
We ran into some problems while out and about , but I'll let Tom tell that story and post some pics. ( 2" doesn't get you very far ) John |

Like the carpets I can ship all over the world. We are in the middle of finalizing the shipping protocols. Give me just a little more time on that one. _________________ Google this.

Will there be other colors available?? What is the "correct" windshield to roll bar dimension? If it fits, can be had in white, and my wife won't notice a large void in the checking account, I am all over it. _________________ Current VW Fleet

They come in White, Black, Saddle, Tan, LT Grey, DK Grey, Beige, DK Blue and Midnight Blue Vinyl. They can be made with Pinpoint or Sail Cloth for even more color choices.
The stayfast has more colors including Purple and Yellow.
Pin Point is $200.00
Cabrio is $250.00
Stayfast cloth is $350.00
Cabrio is the nicer looking of the vinyls. That is the stuff in the photos. _________________ Google this.

Wow, that is a great looking top and excellent craftsmanship. Is it possible to make one if these for a long body? |

Id like to have one also if the price is within reason. Also Id like to know the dimensions. I am assembling my MANX clone now, and would like to get it right for when I add the top. _________________ aka Ken {o\!/o}

The price is above. It is meant to go on a standard Manx or clone using the standard windshield and roll bar. Windshield should be 60' to back fire wall. Roll bar should be 39" from front edge of windshield frame to center of roll bar. In the future we will make variants but we need to recoup on this one first. _________________ Google this.

My windshield doesn't have the channel in the front, only towards the rear. How important is it to the way it mounts?
Other than that my measurements are correct. _________________ Air Riders, VW Club |
