hoping to get some advice, I'm trying to decide between using 1lb propane tanks and only using the stove, or using a 20lb tank and installing a tee back into both propane supply lines and using both the stove and the stock fridge. I know the 20lb tank is a pain for transportation, but those 1lb tanks are verging on 10 Loonies at most places up here in Canada, and there's been a shortage of them the past few summers.

I feel like the annoyance of transporting the 20lber on the road will be worth it vs the hassle of 1lb tanks.

I guess going the refillable small tank route and filling from my 20lber at home before hitting the road for a long weekend of camping would solve the supply, cost and waste issues of those single-use tanks, but would still make it impractical to use the fridge?

I use the refillable 1#ers and have never looked back. But i also run a truck fridge so my usage is minimal. I have two on hand just in case one runs out. Got rid of my under stock propane tank and so happy with that. Pain to get it filled and always worried about going light off roading with it hanging there

There's the refillable 1 pound Flame King bottles. There's also a "growler" propane tank that's a 5 pound bottle.
