I bought my '70 55 years ago, so I win! I remember buying it on the way home from my math class.

Bummer - would have liked to seen it finished, looked like a great build.

I dig it!
Is it lifted?
Thing Spindles, or is it stock ride height with some big ol' tires?

Sorta.

The only problem that you will encounter is that the rear body mounts are welded on higher on IRS cars vs Swing axle cars.

Since it’s an IRS body going onto a swing axle pan, you could just fabricate a spacer block to go in between instead of cutting the body mount off & repositioning it.

Just bought it.
It’s been converted back from a Baja.
It’s needing allot or work.

My father had a 69 as a daily when I was growing up. My mom was pretty excited when I told her I bought a Beetle, I need to get it drivable so I can take her for a ride.
