84 GTI and 87 cabriolet dash

Have a 1984 GTI dash is damaged
Found a mint 1987 dash from a cabriolet.
Anyone know if it’s the same as my 84 gti

It will fit, it’s all the same A1 chassis

Eh, it can be made to fit.


The Westmoreland Wabbits had a very different dash than the Cabriolets that used more of a European style dash.


The brackets that secure the dash are different & all of the trim, glove box, speaker grilles & stuff attached are not compatible.
