Hello.
I am restoring 55BarnPanel now.

55Panel has the hinge of this pattern.
The left-side end is about 14mm.
next,30mm is 31.
The right-side end is the 31st of 30mm.

The body side is a rivet and bolt flagging down. (not DIN63).
All the Lid side is riveting. (not spot welding).
I think that the former owner fastened it with a rivet. .

Have you looked at the hinge of this pattern?
"14mm+30mmX31."

I have 54DX.
The hinge of 54DX is this pattern.
The left edge is about 10mm.
30mm is 31.
The right-side end is about 10mm.

Is this an original pattern?

Yuichiro,

Here is my 52 standard. My measurements are different from both of your engine lids. I'm wondering if the hinge was produced in long lengths, spot welded and then cut off or just cut to length without regard to the length of the hinge, side to side.

Mine measures 10mm on the right side, with 30mm lengths in between and then 16mm on the left side. The lid is original to the bus.

Hi, myklsmyth.
Thank you for measuring it.

Interesting!
Will there be various patterns?

Seems to me like there would be. If you are looking to make it exactly like factory, I would just repeat the dimensions of the hinge pattern that you have. At least it is correct, as your bus was produced. Cool
