Fog Light Bulb Replacement OSRAM 7309

I recently picked up a pair of Hella fog lights from ebay.
One of them will need a replacement bulb (hence the smoky blue glass...).
(I googled "OSRAM 7309" and managed to find a filament replacement no problem)
But I was wondering if an LED replacement is available. (brighter & lower current draw would be nice)

It's base is 20 mm diameter, and little unique in that is has the tabs for locking into the socket rather that the little round spots you typically see.

Does anybody know of a good cross-reference guide that maybe has something that would work, but maybe has a different part/manufacture #?

After a bit more digging, it looks like LEDs with "BA20S" part # have an equivalent base.
Not sure if it would work though.
I'll order a couple and test, I guess.
