I am restoring my 62 Ghia, converted to 12 volt with new harness and testing with a battery charger set to 2 amps which works well. I have everything working, horn, brake lights, headlights, radio, dash lights, Parking lights, ut cannot get the turn signals to work. I have a new 12 volt flasher unit, 49 goes to fuse box for power, 49a goes to the turn signal on the column, other turn signal goes to led and right T object wiring, 49a also goes to the indicator light on the speedometer, 31 goes to a ground on the speedometer housing. When connect charger to power the relay clicks with key off and buzzes if I move the turn signal lever to engage left of right signal. Signals will not flash. Also right rear driving light will not light on parking mode but will light on headlight mode. All lights are grounded. Strange.
Also front and rear light Boeings are original, front take dual filament and rear single filament, not sure if that matters. Need help figuring this out. Thanks!! |

There's your problem, it's a Boeing.
Sorry couldn't resist. My dad is a retired commercial pilot, and the Boeing jokes are non-stop. I'm sure someone with actual help will chime in _________________ Currently own:

There are 2 wires on 49a, one goes to the turn signal lever on the steering column the other wire goes to the speedometer indicator light. The other 2 wires coming from the turn signal lever go to the 2 T connectors that feed the front and rear turn signals. |
