Well, I guess you know how it goes..

Updated old posts with the photos I could find that gone lost int the thread. So now it is atleast sort of restored again.

One old photo from 2005-ish.

I’m glad that you posted 2005ish photo. Otherwise you should have kept the kidvrod. Lol
Nice work as always.

Got some fully welded yesterday. So I took off the jig temporarily to file some of it as it's been a bit too tight at the centerline.

Then assembled the jig back as I prefer to keep it there until I get everything welded

Thanks.
Today I just realised that I had not checked the symmetry from top to bottom before. Just trusted my eye measurements and the jig..

Measured it now diagonally from the handle hole to each corner. I'd say it's acceptable...

Now fully welded!
Next is to weld the bottom inner skin and to construct the hingemounts. Also need to fix some rustholes on the older split donor parts.

As the decklid is built from 72+ years old scrapmetal there's some rustrepair needed...

Did some reshaping below the nose. Now it fit almost tight.

Also started sanding off the paint. Nice to start seeing it as one part instead if a jigsaw puzzle. Unfortunately fuevto using over 70 years old scrapmetal I found some rusted through pitholes around where the logo have been..

Been of work sick on antibiotics the past week... Lots of time to plan next stages...
Started working on parts for the b-pillar...
This is what they should look like..

Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

So I started to cut pieces and fit together with parts for cab mounts that I made already in 2016...

Continued fabricating parts last week.
Hammerformed the new wedges for the upper door rubbers.

After that I went to the storage and brought home the split sedan doors so I could start prepairing parts for modifying them.

With some help by some friends and photos I eyeballed the first inner structure for the rear upper corners and did some cad.. (cardboard Aided design)

Then moved to sheetmetal..

When these were done I did the same for front corners..

Now there's just some minor parts more to make for the doors. Then I have to do some rustrepairs on them before I'll modify them to hebmuller doors.

I only had one grabhandle bar and needed one for the drivers door too so i hammerformed one instead of finding an old original one...

The hinge fought back a bit but with a little bit if violence and heat I got out the old pin... Just got to ream up the holes for the oversize replacement pin.
