I had some body work done on my 73 bug,and when they were working on the doors they filled the drain holes in the bottom of the doors.Does the drain holes in the doors suppose to line up with the v shaped drain holes in the door sills.Does the water run into the heater channel, and then out of the holes in the heater channel cover plate. Is there suppose to be something to cover the drain holes in the bottom of the heater channel.
Thanks

From the outer edge of the door the holes are at 6 1/2 and 30 3/4. Yes looks like they line up with those v shaped holes in the sills but they don't drain into that area they are on the other side of the seal. My car had rubber plugs in the drain holes under the heater channel looked factory.
