I've seen some threads about below rear seat storage, mostly for Vanagons, and I wanted to post an idea I had for my Doka. I wanted something which could securely hold a jack, fluids, tools, and other basic supplies (and still have other storage space for more fun stuff)!

The frame is made from 1/2 baltic ply- I had some old router templates I had made for a workbench I built and used those to lighten the frame and still keep it rigid. The top is the same 1/2 stuff, with 3/4" holes in a basic grid to strap things down to. I have threaded inserts both to hold down the hijack as well as hold the top to the bottom. Has made a big difference in not just having stuff rattling around!

You can buy electrical tape of different colors to wrap the handles of those containers. Yellow for oil, Blue for water, Green for whatever is that last container, for example.

The organizer looks good.
