I decided to use my Brosol Solex. It cleaned up the best and felt better up to the task. Just been Working on the body mostly. Will post pics of the progress soon. One thing I need to check out with the transmission is the adjustment on the clutch arm. When the car was taken apart the arm was taken off. Need to make sure it is on the pivot point in the right spot. Then is some new oils seals on the engine and Reassembly. |

It’s been a while but these things take time. Put the body on the pan to check out how the new panels and channels fit. A few more welding sessions and I will be able to paint this thing. I’m at the point of also starting this engine as well. Just trying to find the free time.

Getting closer. Welding is done. Body is getting primed. Just about ready to paint and get it back on the pan.

Paint and clear have been finished. Been starting on wiring and cutting a buffing. Mounting everything back in place.
Now the part I dread. Having to make my own wire harness for the autostick functions. I’m kind of nervous that after sitting so long and my friend ripping apart this previously functional transmission that something won’t work after reassembly.need to dig up some old threads on plumbing in the vacuum lines then figure out adjustments on the clutch. Hope to be able to toxin all that after I finish cutting, buffing and some assembly. |
