The other day I was driving and all of a sudden it felt like my clutch cable broke and is no longer able to disengage. I pulled the wheel off and the cable is still intact and moves with the pedal? Anyone have an idea to what the issue is I’m having? https://youtube.com/shorts/aZjacQ9qDzs?si=UxKLxvTYtGhpIJ7B

Adjust clutch cable so you have approx 1/2” of pedal travel before you feel resistance.

Verify that splines between clutch lever (at trans) and TO shaft are not stripped.

If the clutch still does not engage, you may have an issue with one or both of the TO bearing arms

Possible causes:
problem with clutch arm/release bearing arms inside the bell housing
partially broken strands of the cable, causing stretching
broken clutch tube mount(s) in the tunnel
broken clutch pedal hook for the cable "eye"
cracked clutch pedal itself

I've had the last three happen on my two VWs, and that was in Arizona.

And 1 more. My bus did the same thing. My output shaft and my gland nut bearings froze to each other.
