I have a 68 ghia and a set of late phone dial rims, 15/7" 52mm offset. I am going to be installing disks on all for corners. I am not concerned with the fitment on the front as I plan to run a narrowed beam. My concern is the rear. will the rims fit with out body mods? I have seen many ghias with phone dials but I know there are a couple different variety's and off sets that were available. _________________ So Many Hobbies,

I don't think they will fit.
Mount some cheap used tires to test fit them.
I have 185x60 & 205x70 on 5.5"x15" 730P www.Mobelwagen.com wheels.

There are 15x6” phone dials. Also, some ghia owners have narrowed rear control arms. Then you could stuff that 15x7 in there. _________________ 1973 standard, yellow, lowered, 3” narrowed front, 1600 blo-thru turbo w/single dell 15.4@86, so far

I know you posted this four months ago but, if you're still seeking answers, here's one:
I run 15x6 Phone Dials on my 1971 Ghia. The offset is 52 mm.
On the front, I needed a 10mm spacer to keep the tires (195-50) from rubbing on the inside.
On the rear, I likewise added a 10mm spacer but that was for vanity's sake since I wanted to run the center caps and they interfered with the axle nuts without the spacers.
For what it's worth, I have 2-1/2" drop spindles on a standard-height and standard-width beam and I had to grind the inside of my Phone Dials about 3/'16" around the inner lips to keep them from rubbing the fronts of the ball joints. Even now, if I have the wheel turned while hitting a bump, the inner part of the wheel rim rubs the ball joint, just barely.
In the rear, I trimmed the upper frame horns so the tires wouldn't rub. I'm dropped about 2-1/2" back there, like the front. _________________ First Car = 1970 Westfallen Typ II

A narrowed beam with that offset wheel is a mistake. You won't be able to turn very much, and a U-turn will be impossible.
Those wheels will absolutely not fit the rear. The best bet is to sell your wheels and find some 6x15s. _________________
