Thanks 3foldfolly. Is that offset simply measured by laying the pulley with the oil thread up, laying a strait edge across it and measuring the distance between the strait edge and the lip of the pulley that is facing up? That measurement looks like an easy way to separate 36 horse pulleys from later ones, as it seems both came in at least 2 different diameters.

Yeah, that's the offset. It's easier to place the pulley hub side down on a flat surface and measure from the flat surface to the lowest outer edge of the pulley. |
