Please help?
So I posted these pics on a FB group asking for help and as always got nothing.
Man I miss the days when forums were the go to and questions were all answered by friendly enthusiasts.

So I’m returning to thesamba for your help please guys!
It’s a pretty simple measurement. If you own a fat column <53 Barndoor. My understanding is the steering wheel sits a tad closure to the dash on the earlies?

I’m sure I’m not the first or last to need this with all the steering box raises that happen.

Thanks guys.

Thanks dude. But I’m after the height off the dash when installed to stock.

Ok, I lied Cool Very Happy

But it doesn’t have a steering column I’m afraid, because it’s been cut in half for some reason.

Maybe try a phone call to Irv or someone who’s probably got one parked up if no one on here can assist dude? Or Matt Smith? He’s selling the 52 samba.

I can measure mine later Rob. Steering box has been raised, and column adjusted, but it should still be at the correct height

Cheers Scotty.

I’ll try Irv if not, Smitty hasn’t got anything that early in at the mo. Samba sold.

If you get a chance Scotty.
Irv’s gonna get some off the 51 when he gets back from Germany. But would be ace to have a couple of measurements to compare.

Does this work? Kind of hard to hold the tape measure and get a good pic, but looks like 1 7/8" to the top of the wheel. Measurement A in your first post is 5 1/8". Let me know if you need anything more...
