Hi all
This is a really dumb request but I’m looking at fitting a NOS Cabrio grab handle to the dash on my LHD oval bug .
I’ve got a rough idea where the mounting holes are but does anyone have the exact dimensions/ location before I get my drill out and put the holes in?
Thanks in advance!!

AFAIK precisely no grab handles were fitted to Sedan dashes by VW. Karmann may have done it on the Cabrio production line?
I'd go look in the vintage photos section and see where they mostly all seem to be- on a sedan 'close' is as good as anyone can say it is I think ---

This is how I mounted mine. I think the very small offset to the right side is common because of the glove-box door catch. It's a bit tricky to get a nut on the stud if it's located right there.

I assume you have a GHE (Happich) dash handle, make sure you have the correct grab handle before you start drilling holes in your dash,
There are different versions of the GHE dash handles for different years & models.
