The road was closed for several hours as first responders stayed on the scene. The Grand Junction Fire Department also responded to the crash.
GJPD is continuing its investigation into the collision. |

I saw that on social media. Apparently the driver was friends with friends of mine. They said he was making plans to attend Buses by the Bridge and bring his family along. Sad.

I didn't hear about this when it happened. I go thru that intersection fairly often...once this week. The speed limit on B-70 is about 50 there. |
