Hey folks.

Iโ€™m totally new to the BD forum so please be patient with me , before starting the post I did see what I could find on the CE Barndoor Safaris but I didnโ€™t find to much and what I did find was very old and not very encouraging.

I have a 54 here in the shop that a client brought me with stuff that came with the purchase like these Safaris.

Do any of you have any experience with these and some feedback.

Installing the frames seemed to go very smoothly and I was pleasantly surprised with the
When I started setting up the brackets to the body they did not behave like the many sets I have installed on the later splits. I could not get the window level by traditional methods.

Have any of you ran into issues with this product?

Thanks in advance.

I've just installed them in my 54 ute and they don't fit very well at the bottom corners (out of square) Will have to do cutting and welding to the pillars to fix the gaps.

Thanks for the response.

The gaps are just ok but good enough.

Iโ€™m asking myself if these are an old set from when they first started making them and now they have fixed the issue Iโ€™m having.

When I set the first bracket on the center with the sliders on and the window open level to the bus everything was going just fine.

When I went to do the ones on the side it did not work out. Itโ€™s like the tab on the frame is in the wrong location.

I played with it for a bit to make sure Iโ€™m not doing something wrong but I have done so many safaris the exact same way with no issues so I just stopped and tried to find information online wether this was a problem for other folks with the first sets of them that they made.
