i have a technical issue with a set of Wolfsburg west 81 mm cylinders pistons i bought from you for my 36 hp engine
Issue comes from the oil ring (at the bottom of the piston)
when i put the 2 thin rings plus the one in the middle total depth is 3,5 mm and nothing fit ! as groove is 2,9mm
let me know if i have done things correctly or if there is an issue with the oil ring i have (all 4 are the same)...
never had before such issue with wht is supposed to be quality parts !!!

a possible solution could be to reduce the lenght of the inside parts of the oil ring that is maybe too long to fit? does anyone have dons that to be able to install the oil ring? |

I believe the raised ridges on the inner top and bottom of the spacer ring should be on the inside edge of the oil rings, not on the top and bottom of them as you have them in the photo. That design will keep the spacer from coming into contact with the cylinder wall and creates outward tension on the oil ring to the wall, if that makes sense. Install the spacer first, then install the lower and upper oil rings.
